MSCEIT® 2 How Do I Perform?
Self-awareness is important—but how we perceive ourselves is only one source of information.
The Mayer-Salovey-Caruso Emotional Intelligence Test™ Second Edition (MSCEIT® 2) offers another lens. Rather than asking you to describe how you typically behave, this ability-based assessment asks you to work through emotion-related problems and evaluates EI as an ability.
It explores four domains:

01
PERCEIVING EMOTIONS
How accurately do I recognize emotional information?
02
CONNECTING EMOTIONS
How effectively do I use emotions to support thinking?
03
UNDERSTANDING EMOTIONS
How well do I understand the causes, meanings, and progression of emotions?
04
MANAGING EMOTIONS
How effectively do I work with emotional information in myself and others?
This distinction can be powerful. What I believe about myself and what I demonstrate through an labiity-based assessment may not always tell exactly the same story.
That difference isn't a judgment. It's information—and information gives us something meaningful to explore.
HOW DO I PERFORM?
MSCEIT® 2 Evaluates your ability to recognize emotional information and solve problems involving emotions.
HOW DO OTHERS EXPERIENCE ME?
EQ 360® Adds the perspectives of people who experience your leadership and allows us to explore the relationship between your intentions, your self-perception, and your impact.
Three different lenses. One purpose: greater awareness and greater choice.
EQ-i 2.0® How Do I See Myself?
The EQ-i 2.0® is a self-report assessment that explores a range of interconnected emotional and social competencies.Rather than reducing emotional intelligence to a single number, it provides a profile across five composite areas.
